The OLT Case Management Conference  Completed April 8th 2026

​A Brief History

  • Town of East Gwillimbury Rejected developer application for 31 Sand Road on Nov 19, 2025

  • Developer Appealed the towns decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) Dec 2025

What's Happened?

10am on April 8th the OLT case management conference was completed. ​

 

24 participant statements submitted by our communitee memebers were all officially accepted, with 2 additional receiving extensions to submit until May 8th. The lawyers will then finalize the list of issues to include in the hearing 2 weeks after all statements are received ( ~May 22nd 2026). 

The hearing dates has been scheduled for

January 26, 2027 - February 5, 2027 (9 days allocated).

What's Next?

On January 26, 2027 a video hearing will be held. A few days prior to the hearing a digital meeting link may be posted in the Case Status (linked above).
