Update: OLT Case Management Conference
Hi Everyone, Just a quick update on the OLT process. The Case Management Conference (CMC) happened this morning. All 24 participant statements submitted were officially accepted, with 2 additional receiving extensions to submit until May 8th. The lawyers will then finalize the list of issues to include in the hearing 2 weeks after all statements are received. The hearing dates has been scheduled for January 26, 2027 - February 5, 2027 (9 days allocated). Thank you to everyone

Developer has appealed to the OLT
Hi Everyone, Unfortunately, we have just been notified by the town that the developer has appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) regarding the 31 Sand Rd application. This means that the matter will now be reviewed as part of the formal OLT process, which falls under provincial jurisdiction. Updates & Next Steps (Nov 4th)
Hi Everyone, Now that we have all shared our opposition to the 31 Sand application, I wanted to share some next steps on what we can expect at a municipal level. Application Review & Next Steps Under Ontario's Planning Act, the applicant can legally appeal to the OLT 120 days after their application is deemed complete.
